It’s everywhere, that word, hypothyroidism. It seems lately I can’t get away from it. I read about it in magazines and newspapers, and watch it on tv during daytime talk shows and news magazines. It’s everywhere.
Its all so sudden the increase in its prevalence. Maybe I notice it more often now that it seems so many suffer from this pesky disorder. I have read numerous articles about the doom of hypothyroidism, about every symptom, and how each one claims to have the cure for my ill. “I can fix your thyroid” they say, usually for a fee. There is so much out there, I am on information overload.
Can a thyroid really be fixed, and if so how? I wonder.
